Thoughtless Imaginations

He thought about it for a second,

Not thinking about the consequences.

Flying near the ocean as the water slapped his face.

Soaring up near the sun,

Listening to the wind howling uncontrollably.

Having the sensation of a ruler,

His confidence rises as he looks up to the sun, Squinting his eyes with his arms wide open, As if he was about to hug someone.

As the results have been given,

Reaching for the feathers,

Convinced he wouldn’t fall.

The air cold as ice, knowing death would occur

Splashing sightlessly as everyone preoccupied and Absorbed into their position.

Thinking of a bird or a box,

Not expecting a thoughtless human.

Old man by the water,

Incurious and indifferent with what has taken place. The hawk examining the old man by the water.

Drowning into the dullness of the evil

And wickedness of the ocean.

Father of the drowning boy,

Sightlessly observing his son dying.

Not willing to believe what he

Is witnessing.

False Imaginations

Love is nothing but false imaginations, Hidden in a hole of painful disasters. Why bother living in a loop of regeneration? Leaving many unbearable fractures.

Not wanting to disappoint the lover,

Closing your eyes, pretending to be blind. Worried and desperate, so you take the cover, Convincing yourself that it will be alright. Hovering over to seek willing love,

Only to witness empty sorrowful eyes. Arms wide open for a great warm loving hug, Only to realize that you're in a room full of sighs. Imaginations can be fully denied,

But worry the pain you will seek at night.

Average School Day

Oh joy, it's finally Monday again!

I happily jumped out of bed.

I can't wait for the week to start again

Thoughts of decent people filled my head.

The bus rustled with talks so negative,

I couldn't believe what I was hearing

A kid compared us to fugitives,

School is so great, these searing

I appreciate the school lunches,

Although people don't know what they're made of.

The mystery meat leaves us in hunches.

It's food though so I thank heaven above.

Last but not least, the wonderful teachers!

I think they're great, some kids say they're "preachers"

I have never been in love with someone

Though there have been times where I thought I was

Young love isn't a need for everyone

People love one another just because

Children hiding in shelter out of sight

Ears covered yet still ringing from the bombs

Everyone filled with terrible fright

Young teen girl, siblings, Aunts, and pregnant moms,

Praying for brothers and fathers return.

Bullets and warplanes flying in the air

Eyes lose hope as cities crash down and burn

Shouting and crying voices in despair

It's fine if you don't remember, it actually helps a lot. My experiment was a success! You don't understand how joyful I am.

Intriguing even. It took so long to make I didn't think it'd work so quickly. Then again I'm a doctor of sorts. I know my way around the medical field without even having a degree.

The reason why you don't remember is because you've been drugged, obviously~

The drug is something heavy on the human body. In seconds it makes you forget about what happened just a few moments ago. You probably don't know how you got here or where you even are.

Don't look so frightened, I won't hurt you. Actually I'll keep you alive for now. I need you alive.

LOVER OF YOURS

Yes you heard right, ladies and gentlemen these experiments consist of the human mind and maybe even the heart.

The human mind has two options, kill and save themselves or kill themselves and save the other.

Now this is where it gets fun, does true love exist?

Just like love at first sight or magic.

You have heard of the tragic love story between Romeo and Julite, right?

Was their love ture?

Supposedly they fell in love at first sight…

I guess we'll test it out.

I have the perfect lovers here ready for this test to begin.

The human has two faces;

Arrogance

If a human comes to having to choose between saving themselves or someone else. They'll definitely choose themselves. The horror and adrenaline impact the decision. It's as though they're own life matters more than someone else's.

Why, though?

What if the other had kids? Or a mom that was waiting for them?

That doesn't matter, not when your own life is endangered.

Humans in this world hide this part of them to seem polite, carrying, nice even. It's odd really.

Sympathy

There's people who actually keep to what they were taught or their morals.

Take care of the weak.

If you do something right you'll get paid for it later on in the future.

Make sure to respect everyone even if they don't seem to deserve it.

That's what you parents would tell you while patting your back. Wouldn't they?

But does the Caring last even when faced with death himself?

Ask yourself that question?

Because the experiment with those two lovers ended up as predicted. The man shot his wife or was it the other way around?

Yes he begged for the murderer to not kill his wife. But the trick was that the wife was untied from the chair, holding, gripping the gun herself and pointing it at her husband.

And finally he betrayed her and begged for his life instead. So the murderer fakes it, faked to kill the wife and save the man.

Which to the murderers surprise the man said "thank you", "Thank you for saving me".

The woman gripped the gun, her slim fingers trembling on the trigger. Finally pulled it and shot her husband in the heart.

Once…

Twice…

Three..

Four …

Five…

Times till finally the gun was finished. The woman fell unconscious from the site of her husband and the experiment ended there.

Now I'll ask you again, do you believe in true love?

Miss You

"I-i love you" I sigh with the biggest grin I've ever had.

I had said it in the heat of the moment. I watched her speak about her work and what happened throughout the day. And I couldn't help myself when she turned and glanced at me with the most beautiful smile. She was truly breathtaking, I didn't even realize how lucky I was till now.

The moon light made her look like a fallen angel. She was my angel or even my death angel. I'd let her take my soul if she'd like, if that meant to be with her I'd do anything. Oh so stunning.

It even took me by surprise that I'd say, "I love you" to her. I'm not a person of words. I prefer giving something to the person I love. But there I was sitting beside her on the grassy hill at midnight.

She was just as beautiful as the moon or even more beautiful. She was a work of art, the art that's fascinating, intriguing even.

"I want to spend a lifetime with you" I add as my eyes fill with tears..

Sadness?

No, I was glad that I'd finally found the love of my life. The person I will forever spend my life with. The person who could make me chuckle and smile even on the worst of days. It was her who I will forever adore.

But that will forever be a memory of mine because now I only talk to the night breeze or any ghost lingering around in this place. She was gone, her soul was taken away from this cruel world and hopefully placed in a paradise of sorts.

Somewhere;

Less painful?

Less cruel?

Less terrifying?

"Hopefully", is all I could say. She was taken from me, I wish I could have done more with her. But now it's too late to say that. I can't change what has happened. I have to live on for her at least.

"I wish you were still here" I frowned at the moon as it glowed beautifully as always.

"I'll forever miss you." I mourn in sorrow.

I Heard

I heard that far away..

I would see the light,

the warmth just like the heat of the sun.

But I couldn't get out of my head.

That place was too far.

It was too difficult to get to.

I ran,

Ran faster than I ever could.

But where that light was,

was much more far than I thought.

And before I could try again,

my body became weak,

My mind,

My thoughts were all too sad.

Then I gave up

before I could even touch that light.

But I heard the light was paradise,

Full of beauty.

Then again,

I never ran

I never tried

It was just all

my thoughts.

Paradise wasn't real.

It was all something my mind made.

A distraction from this

Cruel and terrifying world.

And I fell into the belief that this dream world

Actually existed.

Calm Water

boats sailing

I cast my fishing net into the sea

Someone fell from the sky

a young man

hit the cool ocean water

like a lost battle ship

keep a float

How could I just sit there and watch him die?

A glass of water half empty and still.

Hope of finding 'love' while blinded and deaf.

Too young to want the truth about oneself.

Then thoughts of blame begin to flood one's head.

Verdict guilty, but who's really guiltless?

Are the broken hearted so innocent?

Using your loss as your defense, shameless.

Blaming the outcome on them is insolent.

So all the things that appear so winsome.

are the same as those that are so fearsome.

My Dear Icarus

That Icarus, I told him not to fly close to the orange beaming sun

On my son had the brain of a fly

My poor sun, this would've never happened if he had just listened

I remember the day as if it were yesterday

The look of horror in his eye burned through my heart

Icarus quickly lost control of his wings

I could only watch this horrendous scene from afar

The ocean waited patiently for his body to fall

His body smacked the ocean creating a ruckus in the water

I've been here for too long
